We are positioned to enure equity in global health partnerships. We encourage the implementarion of the Douala Equity Checklist as a 20-item tool HIC and LMIC institutions can use throughout the conduct of global health projects to ensure more equitable collaborations
1. The Colorado-Zimbabwe International Exchange (CoZIE) program fosters exchanges between the University of Colorado School of Medicine and the University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences. It aims to enhance internal medicine practice, teaching, and research.·
2. The Center for Global Health, in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado and AgroAmerica, created the Trifinio Center for Human Development to promote population health and sustainable development in an extremely poor, rural region of southwest Guatemala.
3. The Colombia Tropical Medicine Program offers rotations covering various infectious diseases in Cali, Colombia.
4. In Iquitos, Peru, tropical medicine courses and clinical rotations are available at Loreto Hospital.
5. The MRRH Palliative Care program in Uganda provides home care to around 200 patients, recognized for its culturally respectful services.

The DOM Global Health Education oversees global health education initiatives. We offer exchanges for students, residents, and fellows globally. Our faculty collaborate worldwide to develop a skilled global health workforce and enhance national health systems.
Global Health Hospital Medicine Scholars Program: A one-year program trains hospitalist-leaders for resource-limited settings, combining international experience with training in Colorado. It's designed for internal medicine graduates pursuing careers in global health and underserved populations in academic medicine.
